Ruthwiphdale Foundation donates to orphanage

While many highbrow primary and secondary schools around the country are busy increasing fees, Ruthwiphdale Schools, an upscale institution which combines Nigeria and British curriculum located in Command area of Lagos has for the past ten years been positively impacting on its environment through its charity, Ruthwiphdale Foundation.

About 12 years ago , according to Mrs. Adenike Odetola, the London trained proprietress of the school who is also a highly sought after expert on Early Years Learning with over 35 years experience in leading British schools, in her chat with this medium said Ruthwiphdale Schools adopted Compassionate Orphange located along Isheri- Lasu road as part of its social responsibility and a giving back to the community.
She said” the Foundation visits the orphanage twice a year to issue cheques based on the money raised for it, but from time to time , we send donation s from parents and pupils to the orphanage. These donations include food and clothing items among others.

Mrs. Odetola told Business Hallmark that ” some 12years ago, we decided to start extending compassion to the needy, and given our passion for education we decided to adopt Compassionate Orphanage as our place of primary attention. Ruthwiphdale Foundation offers supports to the Orphanage through efforts of our learners and parents who generously raise funds, foodstuff etc.

“Our learners offer cash donation towards the charity cause every Thursday when they wear our ‘Blue Shirt'[foundation shirt].

“It is customary to offer supports to our Orphanage in December leading to Christmas break, when our esteemed parents donate foodstuff, clothing etc, generously towards supporting our adopted orphans.

“Despite the economic downturn in the country, our parents and learners have not held back but generously donated once again. God bless them all. Amen.

“To our learners, we are planting seed of ‘giving and receiving’ in them and we pray the seed will germinate hundred fold, sixty fold and thirty fold. Amen.

Once again, we wish our adopted Orphanage Merry Christmas and Glorious Year 2025. Amen

” Here, we believe and it’s also our philosophy that Ruthwiphdale is not just a school but a complete life changing environment..
