Gbomo-Gbomo Express is a dark comedy/crime caper about money, love and deception centered around the kidnapping of a record label CEO by a trio of small time hustlers.
Ramsey Nouah plays Austin Mba, the CEO of Rolling Records – a label on the verge of signing a major sponsorship deal, brokered by his ambitious partner and company lawyer Rotimi Lawal (Blossom Chukwujekwu).
During a night out celebrating, Austin hooks up with Cassandra (Osas Ighodaro) a beautiful and feisty island socialite. But before their romance can blossom any further, Austin is kidnapped en route to his home and is taken by the gang to an abandoned building.
Gideon Okeke plays Francis, the brooding ringleader of the kidnap gang. Kiki Omeili is Blessing, Francis’ no nonsense girlfriend. Gbenro Ajibade plays Filo, the clueless petty hustler turn musician looking to blow.
The plot thickens as Austin discovers that the gang has very detailed information about his lifestyle and business dealings. With his life in the balance, and with the situation getting increasingly complicated for the amateurish gang, Austin must play along, while desperately seeking a way out.
