Naira strengthens 0.08% to N362.52/$ at Investors’ forex window

The Naira firmed up 0.08 per cent against the Dollar, exchanging N362.52/$ on Friday at the Investors and Exporters (I&E) foreign exchange window.

The currency opened at the I&E forex window at N362.25, traded high at N363.40 and eventually closed at N362.52, representing 0.08 per cent appreciation against the previous day’s position.

Meanwhile, Investors traded a total of $316.12 million was transacted through the I&E window.

The Naira at the official rate remains unchanged at N306.95/$1 as against yesterday’s position.

At the parallel market segment, the cash and transfer rates both remained unchanged to close N358.00/$ and N362.50/$ respectively.
