Naira gains 0.06% against Dollar in Investors’ Forex Window

The Naira appreciated 0.06 per cent against the Dollar on Wednesday at the Investors and Exporters (I&E) FX window.
The local currency opened at N362.50, traded high at N364.00 and eventually closed at N363.22 representing a 0.06 per cent appreciation against last Friday’s closing position.

Investors exchanged a total of $780.95 million at the I&E Forex Window, while the market turnover was down by 62 per cent to $299 million.

At the interbank, the Naira/USD rate remained unchanged at N360.90/$ (Spot) and N357.68/$ (SMIS).

At the parallel market, the cash and transfer rate remained unchanged at N357.80/$ and N363.00/$ respectively.
