Lafarge Africa Plc posts N2 as final dividend to shareholders in 2022

Lafarge Africa Plc officially trading as WAPCO has declared a final dividend of N2 for the year ended 31, December 2022.

The Cement manufacturing company reported a turnover of N373.245 billion for the 12 months period, up by 27.35% from N293.086 billion reported the previous year.

Profit after tax grew year on year by 5.18% to N53.647 billion from N51.004 billion reported the previous year.

Earnings per share of the Group stands at N3.33, up by 5.18% from the EPS of N3.17 reported the previous year.

At the share price of N27.4, the P/E ratio of Lafarge Africa stands at 8.23x with earnings yield of 12.16%.
