Kidnapped Appeal Court judge, Nwosu-Iheme freed

Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme of the Federal Court of Appeal, Benin city, Edo State has been freed by her abductors upon payment of ransom according to family sources.

Justice Nwosu-Iheme was kidnapped on October 30, 2019 along the Benin-Agbor by a kidnap gang who shot and killed his police orderly in the process.

Her driver who also sustained gunshot injuries was said to have died in a hospital days afterwards.

Police was yet to issue an official statement at the time of writing.
