EPL:10- Man Liverpool drop points against Fulham, Arsenal, Everton finish goalless

Liverpool fought valiantly to secure a 2-2 draw against a spirited Fulham side at Anfield, despite being reduced to 10 men early in the match.
The game was filled with drama, including an early Fulham lead, a contentious red card, and a late equalizer to deny the visitors a famous victory.
Fulham struck first in the 11th minute when Andreas Pereira capitalized on sloppy Liverpool defending to fire a low shot past Alisson Becker. The early goal shocked the Anfield crowd and gave Fulham the momentum they needed to trouble the hosts.
Liverpool’s situation worsened in the 38th minute when Andrew Robertson was sent off for a rash challenge on a Fulham attacker just outside the penalty area. The Scottish defender’s mistimed tackle left the Reds facing an uphill task for the rest of the match.
Despite being a man down, Liverpool came out firing after the break. Cody Gakpo brought the Reds level in the 47th minute, pouncing on a cross from Salah and heading it calmly past Fulham’s goalkeeper, Bernd Leno. The equalizer ignited hope among the Anfield faithful and shifted the momentum.
Fulham, however, were determined to reclaim their advantage. In the 75th minute, R Muniz who had been lively all evening, latched onto a pass and scored to restore Fulham’s lead. His goal seemed to put Fulham on the verge of a remarkable win against their more illustrious opponents.
Liverpool refused to give up, and their persistence paid off in the 86th minute. Diogo Jota found space in the box and smashed home a crucial equalizer, sending the Anfield crowd into raptures. The Portuguese forward’s goal ensured Liverpool walked away with a hard-fought point.
Arsenal 0-0 Everton: Gunners Wasteful in Frustrating Stalemate
Arsenal were held to a goalless draw by a resolute Everton side at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners dominated possession and created several chances but were ultimately undone by poor finishing and determined Everton defending.
From the opening whistle, Arsenal controlled the tempo of the game, with Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice pulling the strings in midfield. Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka were lively on the wings, but Everton’s defense, marshaled by James Tarkowski and Michael Keane, stood firm.
Despite carving out multiple opportunities, Arsenal failed to find the breakthrough. Eddie Nketiah squandered a golden chance in the 32nd minute, firing over the bar from close range. Saka also came close, but his curling effort in the 64th minute was superbly saved by Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Everton offered little in attack, with their focus primarily on frustrating Arsenal and hitting on the counter. Dwight McNeil and Abdoulaye Doucouré worked tirelessly in midfield to disrupt Arsenal’s rhythm.
As the clock ticked down, Arsenal ramped up the pressure but could not find the decisive goal. Substitute Leandro Trossard had a late opportunity, but his shot was blocked by a sliding Tarkowski.
The result is a missed opportunity for Arsenal, who were looking to close the gap at the top of the table. Everton will consider this a hard-earned point, as they successfully executed their defensive game plan to deny the Gunners.
Both matches underscore the unpredictability of the Premier League and the challenges even the top teams face in securing results.
