Bullish session continues on the floor of Nigerian stock market on the last trading day of the year, extending the gains to six straight sessions as the All Share Index grew by 1.89% to close at 51,251.06 points from the previous close of 50,300.00 points.
The Market Capitalisation appreciated by 1.89% to close at N27.915 trillion from the previous close of N27.397 trillion, thereby adding N518 billion.
An aggregate of 890.7 million units of shares were traded in 3,566 deals, valued at N3.36 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 21 equities emerged as gainers against 17 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
PRESCO and CAVERTON led other gainers with 10.00% growth each to close at N137.50 and N0.99 from Thursday’s close of N125.00 and N0.90 respectively.
Airtel Africa, CWG and MORISON among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.88%, 9.78% and 9.60% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Royal Exchange led other price decliners as it shed 9.40% of its share price to close at N1.06 from the previous close of N1.17.
FIDSON and UACN among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 8.16% and 7.66% respectively.

Sovereign Trust Assurance traded about 523.9 million units of its shares in just 3 deals, valued at N146.7 million.
ACCEESSCORP traded about 176.5 million units of its shares in 119 deals, valued at N1.5 billion.
