UBA Foundation delivers continent-wide aid to vulnerable communities across 20 African countries

UBA Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, has distributed relief materials worth several millions of naira and dollars to vulnerable individuals and communities across Nigeria and 19 other African countries where the bank operates.
The intervention, carried out under the Foundation’s Food Bank and Giving Back initiatives, reached more than 100,000 beneficiaries between November 2025 and January 2026. The programme targeted schoolchildren, orphanages, internally displaced persons (IDP) camps and other vulnerable groups, with the aim of easing financial pressure associated with the end-of-year period and the start of a new year.
The initiative underscores UBA Foundation’s commitment to promoting social welfare, resilience and sustainable development across its operating communities in Africa.
