Atiku Abubakar is not a unifier and Wike & Co should leave PDP

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has designated Senator Dino Melaye, former Kogi West senator, and Dr. Daniel Bwala to serve as his spokespersons for the 2023 presidential campaign.

Paul Ibe, media adviser to the former vice president, in a statement on Thursday said the two nominations are to take effect without delay.

Atiku has also nominated Ms. Lynne Bassey as Special Assistant on Gender Issues and Women Advancement, whose nomination took effect from August 1.

On Tuesday July 5, 2022 the former vice-president had added three media aides to his campaign team, namely: Eta Uso, Abdulrashhed Shehu and Demola Olanrewaju.

Malaye was a member of the Red Chamber of the National Assembly, during the 8th Senate of the National Assembly from Kogi West Senatorial Constituency.

Bwala, a former chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC who joined the PDP last week, is a legal luminary, politician and public affairs commentator born in Adamawa State.
