2023: Southern and Middle Belt Forum meet with Peter Obi [PHOTOS]
Southern and Middle Belt leaders under the aegis of the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum (SMBL) are currently meeting with Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos.

The forum which has Afenifere, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, PANDEF and Middle Belt Forum as members, had repeatedly insisted on power shift to the Southeast in 2023, and had rejected the choice of Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate.

Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Afenifere leader had also endorsed Peter Obi.
The meeting could be an avenue to officially endorse Obi, who is the leading presidential candidate from the the Southeast.
