Olarinoye wins Nigeria’s first gold in weightlifting at Commonwealth Games
Adijat Adenike Olarinoye, a weightlifter has won Nigeria’s first gold medal of the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games taking place in Birmingham.
Olarinoye recorded a total of 203kg in the women’s 55kg weightlifting event.
The 203kg lift is a new Commonwealth Games record.
