United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc is set to host a special edition of its quarterly UBA Business Series, celebrating and empowering the modern African woman under the theme “Gen W – The Evolved Woman.”
Scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2026, at 11 a.m. at UBA House, Lagos, the event will bring together accomplished female leaders and professionals to share insights, experiences, and strategies for navigating leadership, ambition, and growth in today’s dynamic environment. This edition aims to highlight a new generation of African women who are not just seeking opportunities but actively creating them. Discussions will explore how women are shaping industries, leading businesses, and redefining success on their own terms.
The event will feature an inspiring lineup of speakers, including Joycee Awosika, entrepreneur and founder of ORÍKÌ Group; Tomike Adeoye, media personality and entrepreneur; Olufunke Davies, founder of Fine Funky; and award-winning broadcaster Ayo Mario-Ese. Media personality and actor Tobi Bakre will host the conversation.
Panelists are expected to share their personal journeys, perspectives on navigating professional spaces, building resilient businesses, embracing authenticity, and redefining leadership as women in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
