South East governors boycott Ohanaeze, Afenifere peace rally in Enugu

Governors of the South East geopolitical zone Thursday, boycotted the unity rally between the Igbo, Yoruba as Middle Belt and South South which held at the Base Event Centre, Independent Layout Enugu.
The event which was graced by prominent leaders from the said zones, was not attended by any of the host zone’s (South East) governors despite being allegedly invited.
Of all the governors, only the host governor, Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi sent a representative, a move many say was unexpected of him.
No reason was given for their absence as at the time of filing this report.
