Senate resolves to take over Edo Assembly in three weeks if Obaseki fails to issue fresh proclamation

The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday, resolved take over the Edo State House Assembly in line with section 11, subsections 4-5 of the 1999 Constitution if the state governor, Godwin Obaseki fails to issue fresh proclamation for “proper inauguration of the Assembly” in three weeks.
