The Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Dr. Emomotimi Agama, has tasked Nigerian capital market stakeholders to work collectively to ensure transparent and inclusive market environment.
In his Christmas message to the capital market community, Dr. Agama stated thus:
“As we celebrate the joy, love, and magic of the season, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders in the Nigerian capital market for your tireless efforts, commitment, and resilience”
Agama acknowledged the efforts of issuers, investors, intermediaries, and other market participants stating their instrumental role in transforming the Nigerian capital market into a vibrant hub for investment. He expressed gratitude for their continued trust, noting that such dedication strengthens the market’s appeal to investors.
