Former Anambra State governor and presidential hopeful, Peter Obi, has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He disclosed his intention to resign in a letter addressed to the national chairman of the party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
Obi’s decision to leave the PDP comes days before the presidential primary is scheduled to hold.
