Police council confirms Usman Baba IGP
The Police Council has confirmed Mr Usman Baba as Nigeria’s substantive Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
The decision was taken at the council’s meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.
Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi, confirmed the development to State House correspondents at the end of the meeting.
