The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has unveiled its campaign committee for the 2026 governorship election, appointing Hon. Oluwole Oke, five-term member of the House of Representatives representing Ijesa-North Federal Constituency, as Overall State Director General.
Other appointments include Prince Adebayo Adeleke as Director General for Osun Central Senatorial District, Prince Dotun Babayemi for Osun West, and Hon. Thomas Ogungbangbe for Osun East.
The party also announced committee leadership for the nine federal constituencies:
Osogbo: Hon. Akintunde Adegboye (Chairman), Hon. Abayomi Oyedeji (Co-Chairman), Hon. Kamil Oyedele (Secretary)
Ifelodun: Hon. Wale Afolabi (Chairman), Alhaji Sule Aderemi (Co-Chairman), Hon. Moshood Adekunle Oluawo (Director of Mobilization), Hon. Adeniran Ibitoye (Secretary)
Ila: Dr. Adebisi Obawale (Chairman), Hon. Richard Tinubu (Co-Chairman), Dr. Bode Olaonipekun (Secretary)
Ede: Ambassador Adejare Bello (Chairman), Hon. Bade Falade (Co-Chairman), Hon. John Ojo (Secretary)

Upon his appointment, Oke expressed gratitude to party leaders and members, declaring that the campaign aims to unseat Governor Ademola Adeleke.
“I feel highly honoured. From this moment, Governor Ademola Adeleke should start packing his bags. We are specialists at removing sitting governors and we are ready to deliver victory for APC,” Oke said.
APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, commended the constitution of the campaign committees and urged party members to begin grassroots mobilization ahead of the August 15, 2026 election.
Prince Adebayo Adeleke, Osun Central Director General, assured that the campaign would be peaceful and crisis-free while warning opposition parties to refrain from disruptive tactics. He expressed confidence in Bola Oyebamiji’s victory, saying, “Now that the train has started, we are set for victory.”
