On wizkid’s exit from MTN to Glo

Recently, it was reported that MTN had dropped Wizkid, Timaya and Sean Tizzle, D’Prince as their brand ambassadors.

But according to the information at our disposal,Wizkid actually moved to Globacom couple of weeks ago after complaining that MTN was delaying payment and mostly because Glo offered him more to be their ambassador.
Though the Telecom company, Globacom is yet to confirm the N120 million worthy deal allegedly signed by “Ojuelegba” crooner, Wizkid.
A top official of the telecom company said, “I’m not aware of any deal like that. But when we know, we’ll push out a statement, and let you know.”
On whether Glo is planning to sign new brand ambassadors soon, he said, “I can’t say for now”. But you know at the end of the year, we can review our brand ambassador list.”
But it is confirmed that the likes of Sean Tizzle and Timaya have been dropped from MTN brand ambassador list. Naeto C and Lynxxx have been dropped by Glo. We also gathered they were dropped because Glo wanted to bring in more people. Bovi, AY,Odunlade Adekola and OC Ukeje have also joined Glo.
Wizkid we learnt signed a 2-year deal with Glo.
