Activities on the Nigeria equity market shed 0.26% to sustain downtrend to three consecutive sessions. However, market breadth closed positive, recording 15 gainers and 14 losers.

The All Share Index (ASI) decreased by 72.02 absolute points, representing a dip of 0.26% to close at 27,918.59 points. Similarly, the Market Capitalization lost N35.10 billion, representing a decline of 0.26% and closed at N13.61 trillion.
CHIPLC emerged the top gainer while INTBREW emerged as top loser
The downtrend was impacted by losses recorded in large and medium capitalized stocks, amongst which are; INTBREW (-9.42%) CCNN (-6.83%), SEPLAT (-6.67%), ETI (-6.11%), FCMB (-4.62%), GUARANTY (-1.04%), and DANGCEM (-0.58%). (GTI)
