The National Police Council (NCP) has confirmed Kayode Egbetokun as the substantive Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
President Bola Tinubu had on June 20, appointed Egbetokun, a Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG), as the acting IGP, pending confirmation by the police council.
