As Nigeria prepares for the 2027 general elections, Business Hallmark has announced that Dr. Monday Ubani, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN); former House of Representatives member Hon. (Dr.) Abdul Oroh, and Amb. Adejare Bello, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), will headline its upcoming Virtual Lecture Series – March 2026 Edition.

The session will focus on “Nigeria 2027: The New Electoral Act, Electoral Integrity, and the Future of Governance.”

Scheduled for 26 March 2026 at 12:00 PM via Zoom, the online lecture will provide a platform for informed, non-partisan dialogue among professionals, academics, policy observers, and engaged citizens.

Participants will explore the implications of the recently enacted Electoral Act, evaluate the credibility of Nigeria’s electoral processes, and discuss the potential impact of the 2027 elections on governance, political stability, and democratic consolidation in the country.

The lecture promises a robust discussion, drawing on the expertise of Dr. Ubani SAN, former Second Vice-President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), ex-Chairman of the NBA Ikeja Branch, and founder of the Onyekachi Ubani Foundation, whose extensive experience in constitutional and electoral law will provide key insights.

He will be joined by Dr. Oroh, a legal practitioner, author, public governance and leadership specialist, as well as Amb. Bello, former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly and former diplomat to Mexico, whose legislative and diplomatic experience offers a unique perspective on governance and electoral oversight.

Organisers are inviting all interested participants to register and attend the lecture via Zoom.
