Nigeria’s vice president, Kashim Shettima, has decorated Kayode Egbetokun as the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) in acting capacity.
Egbetokun was appointed by President Bola Tinubu as acting IGP on Monday.
He replaces Usman Alkali Baba as the news police boss.
The president also named new service chiefs.
