Hoodlums hijack protest in Kano, embark on looting spree

Hoodlums have hijacked the ongoing nationwide protest against hunger and bad governance in Kano State, and resorted to looting of shops and offices.

The protest began peacefully, but soon metamorphosed into chaotic scenes with hoodlums invading shops and offices to cart away goods.
