Gunmen attack Oforchukwu Egbo, PDP candidate in Enugu, kill driver
Gunmen on Wednesday night, attacked the campaign convoy of Oforchukwu Egbo, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Enugu North/South Federal Constituency.
The hoodlums killed the driver of one of the buses in the convoy.
The incident which happened at Eke-Otu in Amechi Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Government Area of the state, came moments after the gunmen murdered Oyibo Chukwu, the Labour Party senatorial candidate for Enugu East, in the same Amechi.
DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the State Police Public Relations Officer, could not be reached for comments.
