Covid 19 cannot be killed – John Hopkins University
By Uche Chris
Scientists at the world famous John Hopkins University, JHU, are still trying unravel the mystery behind the Coronavius, Covid 19, pandemic that has been ravaging the world since it first broke out in China in December 2019 following recent discovery that the virus is actually an organic non living thing. Their concern is based on the fact that a non living organism could possess such a lethal health danger of high contagion effect capable of grounding the entire world.
By this development speculations have heightened over the real origin and source of the virus, as experts now believe in the high probability of its organic generation rather the animal origin or source, to which the Chinese authorities had persistently attributed it. Since its outbreak, accusing finger has been pointed at China, with some countries such as the U.S. openly insisting that the virus was developed as a biological weapon by China at a military virology laboratory, near the animal market in Wuhan, the epicenter of the pandemic but was mishandled by those concerned.
Although China has stoutly denied such allegations, they believe that China’s complicity is evident in its clandestine handling of the problem and refusing outside help and assistance even from the World Health Organisation, WHO, and the U.S. from the outset, which could have otherwise provided early warning signs and medical intelligence to curtail its later ravaging proportions. They also point to the suppression of earlier information on it and the persecution of the doctors involved in the whistle blowing saga over the pandemic in early 2019 who have since died.
The new report by JHU said that the virus cannot be killed since it is not a living organism, but a protein molecule (DNA) covered by a layer of fat, which when absolved by the cells of ocular, nasal, or mucosa changes their genetic code (mutation) converts them into aggressor and multiplier cells.
“Since it is not a living organism, it is not killed, but decays on its own; the disintegration time depends on the type of material surface and the temperature and humidity. The virus is very fragile as it is protected by just fat layer, which when exposed to heat and alcoholic toxicity,” it said.
Also the survival period of the virus on open air and outside the body depends on the type of surface and temperature spanning between three (3) hours for fabrics and 72 hours on plastic surfaces. Copper and metal are 4 and 48 hours respectively. It can also last three hours in the air.
However, the common practice of open fumigation may have been futile effort as the virus is not a living thing and cannot be killed; it is washing and alcoholic substance of over 65 % and heat of 25 centigrade that can decompose it.
It warns that confined spaces increase its concentration and rate of spread than open air with natural ventilation. Also humid and hot conditions, including water of 25 percent centigrade can quicken its disintegration.
