Breaking: Tribunal upholds Buhari’s election

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday, upheld the election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 23, 2019 presidential election and dismissed the appeal of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and it’s candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Delivering its judgment, Justice Mohammed Garba, leader of the five-man tribunal panel sitting at the Court of Appeal, Abuja said Atiku’s petition is “accordingly, and hereby dismissed in its entirety.

“In the final result, and I have come to the conclusion which is inevitable and unavoidable, that the petitioners have not proved any of the grounds of the petition in paragraph 15 of the petition.
