Former governor of Ekiti State, and current Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has emerged victorious in the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship primary held on Saturday, and will flag the ruling party’s flag for  the July 14, 2018 governorship election in the state

The minister polled 941 votes to see off challenges from Segun Oni who came second with 454 votes and Kayode Ojo who took third position with 245 votes.
