Bomb blast kills 10 in Yobe

No fewer than 12 people were killed when a bomb believed to be from Boko Haram insurgent exploded in Potiskum Yobe state.
The incident, which occurred on Monday, according to a member of Vigilante Group, Mallam Isa Ibrahim also injured about 15 people.
Ibrahim said that the explosive was concealed in a computer desktop and exploded while the victims were trying to check the content.
“As we were about to confirm the ownership and content of the carton of this suspect, the carton exploded, as the IED was hidden in a computer desktop that was brought to our office here in Potiskum to bail this suspect under our custody, before handing him over to the military and police for further investigation.”
“Unfortunately, our commander or leader and a woman, and six others were killed in this bomb blast. There are about a dozen others that
also sustained injuries in their limbs and various degrees of burns,” said Ibrahim in a telephone interview in Damaturu.”
