APC’s focus on people its main strength –LG boss

The strength of the All Progressive Congress (APC) derives from its focus of delivering dividends of democracy to all Nigerians irrespective of differences.

That is why it would continue to take measured steps in addressing the various challenges facing the country to avoid the mistakes of past administrations.

Alhaji Ado Abubakar, Chairman of Tafa Local Government Area of Niger disclosed this during his second year anniversary in office on Friday in Sabon Wuse.

The occasion was also used to empower more than 300 artisans, petty traders, beggars as well as people living with disability.

Abubakar said that the doors of the APC  would be opened to all like minded Nigerians, adding that those coming into the party must also adopt it people-oriented policies to contribute to its progress.

“We are growing in strength in the country because the people identify with the policies and programmes of the party.

“Majority of Nigerians understood that the APC need time to consolidate and rebuild the structures long abandoned by successive administrations.

“When you hear Nigerians calling on President Muhammadu Buhari and Niger State people calling on Gov. Abubakar Sani-Bello to recontest come 2019, its because of their belief that APC will change Nigeria for good,” he said.

The chairman said that Tafa had experienced tremendous progress and development in the last two years in the areas of education, primary health care and rehabilitation of roads.

The two years anniversary celebration would climaxed on Monday with the visit of the governor to Tafa to inspect completed and ongoing projects done by Abubakar.
